for patients

Know the sound before your scan.

MRI examinations can feel unsettling due to the lound sounds of the MRI scanner. We recorded the sounds,
so you can listen to it beforehand and hopefully feel more at ease during the examination.

Because each body part has specific requirements for the scanner’s measurement procedures and switching patterns, the sounds produced by an MRI can vary depending on the body part being examined. So, look for the body parts that will be scanned and get familiar with the sequences.

! Be aware of loud and unexpected sounds !
Turn down the volume to protect your ears and speakers at first.
